I have this AIO in a Thermaltake core V1 ITX. It keeps my 4790k pretty cool. 31c idle and 65c under gaming load at 21c ambient. It was very easy to install.

For $25, it should be a front page deal.
Only downside is the design of the bracket denied it from being a GPU cooler with NZXT Kraken G10/12, unless you can find a secure way to install it on your graphics card.

Has fairly low CFM compared to the usual go to Hyper 212 Evo. Any pros to this besides making your computer look "cool"?

Note that it's 140mm, may not fit in some systems. Also tubes on both sides of the pump may interfere with RAM/heatsinks

doesn't spew heat directly into case. liquid vs 212 evo is totally different set of requirements. my case wouldn't even fit a 212 evo

Thanks. Still doesn't seem that great. Only if you are putting this in a Mini-ITX build would that even matter. Any larger form factor would probably not make much of a difference.

Correct. I had mITX and the 212 was simple too tall. Plus in a SFF heat is important to manage so out the rad is better than a sink right over mobo. Usually liquid is quieter but depends on what fans. I have an H55 Silent and you can't hear it even on full fans. I had a Lepa AC 240 and it was a jet on 75%...till it died after 3 months.

Yeah in my Mini-ITX build I was able to fit a corsair H100i. Still going going strong although I did remove any stock fans that came with the case and replaced them with better Noctua in some weird push pull air setup. Off to find a gtx 1060 deal lol.

I bought the 240mm "lite" one that was on sale the other day. This looks like a higher quality one, albeit smaller. Should I be feeling buyer's remorse?
Not at all. 2x bigger rad area will be better than tube wrap and fancy pump.

How does this compare to the stock ryzen wraith cooler on the 1700?

Wait for cheap corsair ones, I picked h50 intel version for $25 after MIR, and just received the rebate card today. I have gone to custom loops but still hesitated on purchasing this one, as the price is so good...

140 is good enough especially with 2 static pressure optimized fans. Either 240 or this one is a good choice. Improved pump rate would definitely help with cooling.
