No GPS just so you know. And like all other optical sensor, don't trust the heart rate measurement 100%. Good deal otherwise!

I bought one for my wife and I on Black Friday. Paid more... So far we like them. The HR monitor could be a little off at times, but for the most part it seems pretty close for a wearable monitor. No sync issues. But the detail screens on the watch have pretty small print so can be hard to read while working out.

By default it displays a lot of information, but I customized mine to show just Time, Steps, HR, Music controls and Weather. Still tracks everything else, but if I want to see stairs or calories, I look on my phone.

Nice price for the product.

How is the battery life? How many days between charges? Are replacement bands available for it? Thanks.

The battery could last until 5 days. There is not replacement bands available unless you try it some retailers that offer through Amazon ( many customers said they have problem with the band itself). I have been using mine one year now and I like a lot...

My battery lasts 5-7 days, depending on how much I scroll and use it to read texts, emails, etc, as well as tracking. I have had many fitness devices and this is my favorite by far. HR tracking on any device is sketchy, but it is good for trending data.

Thanks guys. I know this one is a long shot, but does anyone use this with an LG X Charge? I have a house full of those from the Xfinity Mobile deal in September. I would assume there wouldn't be any sync issues, but just wondered if anyone had tried.

Bummer that I just found out that you can't send a workout plan to it's brother the Vivosport. So for example the watch won't ding at you that your 5 min warmup is over and now it's time to run for 1 mile, then walk for 1/4 mile, etc. BOOOO Garmin, your bands like the Vivosport/Vivosmart should support this crap and not just your Fenix/Forerunner models. Good luck trying to find support to on what are even the compatible models, my google fu is lacking. Even Garmin's forum isn't any help.

I charged mine every Sunday night. I think it would go 8 days though. Of course battery life depends on how you use it.

I've had mine since launch (3 years) without any issues and I wore it 24/7. It tracks steps well but I tuned it in the app and would check it periodically.

The only thing I had a problem with was the little loop on the band finally broke a few months ago so I started using scotch tape to hold it down.
Not the greatest solution but the wife just upgraded me to the vivoactive HR so...

Solid review. Repped. I'm just sitting on the fence wondering how I can be sure there won't be sync issues with an LG X Charge. Like Mike_Hawk mentioned, I don't see any help in the Garmin forum. I'm always leery of return policies on things that have been opened such as this.

Not sure if it helps but I have the HR + and use it with my LG G6 with no issues. It was kind of a weird set up in that you have to let the app do the pairing the 1st time. If you pair it and then install the app its a bit wonky. The app is rock solid and garmin updated the device on a regular basis. Solid Deal if you don't need GPS.
