I just returned the cordless version of this vac, but of course paid $150. It's a glorified sweeper. Worth $35, just keep this in mind.

This could replace the 25 year-old Oreck we keep upstairs...danged thing won't die! The Oreck doesn't have the hose/hand-held option, so this would be nice in its place. Would have to be worth $35!

Thanks! I have a similar model UH70400 and it had served me well until the brush roll motor broke due to hair. I was able to remove some and it worked for a few more months, after which I couldn't fix it. Looked to buy a replacement part and the freaking thing cost twice as much as the price in the title. Seeing this deal, I'll finally move on to a new model.

I bought a bissell last month or so, and I kind of think a Hoover would've been better. Each has its fair share of haters tho.
