Any reason why one would opt for the 1200 pwm version over the 1500 pwm version? Are they different blade designs? Hard to tell from pics

I think you have to Google the part numbers as not sure pics are correct

RPM. Noise. 1200 is going to be quieter at full speed if you don't need max flow.

Unfortunately Noctua do not make 120mm pressure optimized fans in the Redux line. Basically these will be fine as case fans if you have lots of open space - no vents or only a modest filter on the intake, and no HDDs or cables in the direction that air is being pushed.

The 140s would be good radiator fans if you are running a 140 or 280 mm radiator though. Or just as a general exhaust fan in the back.
