Last year's deal was significantly better... I got 2 Samsung tablets with 2 lines with 6gb of data completely free...the tax on those lines is like a dollar a month.

$144 is a bit steep for a tablet but if you are staying with T-mobile, might as well get a tablet no?

Tablet is not worth $144...this is only useful if you were already planning to get a data line for some other reason...otherwise, terrible deal everyone got last year on tablets and data lines that were completely free for life.

It's free. Free. As in, it doesn't cost anything except sticking with T-Mobile, which I would have done anyway because of the free food and movie tickets.

It is not free...you have to pay for the data plan by opening a new line...hence again reiterating that last year we all on SD got 2 data lines free with 6gb each line, and free tablets...meaning $0 monthly costs....that is free. This deal is not free. Pay for the data line, and we throw in a crappy tablet worth $50.

I got this deal a few months ago. They open new data lines but they do not charge extra for it. The data lines on my bill show $0.00 and the total has not changed.

Not a fan of Alcatel. Have an Alcatel phone that is bricked, with no recovery available on U.S. carrier phones. They have user-installable recoveries for most phones made for other markets, but U.S. phones are SOL.

My local T-Mob store said, yes, the tablet is free if you stay with TM for the 2 years, but told me they would charge $10/month for data to the tablet. Was she in error?
