As a Vietnamese. I deeply appreciate the American was served during VN war. Majority people in my country now realized they have been deceived by communist party. But it's too late.. And for those people was died, they were not die for no reason. They light up the hope for a better world. They're trying to keep the world save and peace. There is too many pp want to destroy and take over your land. If I have kids. I wish they could be soldiers to fight for America and I will proud of it.
One again, thank you American and sorry for what happened in the past. But that's a real life, what it is it is. You have to take advance or your enemy will do it. I hope you can understand my broken English because it is my second language. Peace.

Good deal for this huge box set. The episodes are well shot, is unbiased as can be with both sides commenting and recollecting the war. It covers a wide scope of the war drawing from many sources included declassified documents and audio recordings. In some parts it's incredibly sad, other parts it gets you really angry, for a series to do that it must be good. It is a top tier documentary that I watched a number of times. In an interview after the premier on PBS, it was mentioned that many hundreds of hours of footage was cut. I wonder if any future sets would include that for future generations.

Can you tell me if there's any part that is dedicated to the secret CIA war in Laos?
