Nice deal, but made even slicker by using $40 of 200 at Lowes, with a $1 filler.

Love/hate relationship with these things, it seems. I really want something like this, but theres so many people out there unhappy with the product/service (understanding lots of people love it, too).

I'd prefer something I can hardwire. But my front door is at the top of some steps, under an overhang, with the doorbell on the SIDE. I could buy one of those angled add-ons, but the more I look into it, the more a dedicated camera would be a better option for optimal placement. That, or I'd prefer something not as obvious, like one of those on the base of the porch light. Anyone hear good things and/or see good sales for something like that?

Reviews for that sort of thing seem to be hit or miss. Or the products are far more expensive than this. But I guess that's to be expected from a product DESIGNED to blend in when theres not much competition yet. Perhaps I SHOULD go with a dedicated camera?

Perfect! I had just decided on this over the SkyBell and set up an alert. The price history on this had them lower from what I saw but not with the extra items.

When I use the Lowe's link and added the one year warranty it came to 197.00 and 157.00 without the warranty. In the cart it only shows the unit itself but shows a 99.00 discount any ideas what I am missing or why my prices are so different.

Disregard I am an idiot I only had the ring pro in the cart but it still was applying the discount even though I didn't have the extended in the cart. So excuse my ignorance but isn't 157.00 a good deal for just the ring pro camera itself?

$157 for the Ring Doorbell Pro if it was by itself is the lowest I've ever seen.
