Pretty good with that $10 off $30 that people are trading for a $1 Amazon gc.

I use the yogurt function a lot to make Greek yogurt. $2.5 gallon a milk makes about a pound of thick as hell yogurt.

Thanks OP. Been trying to snag one for a couple of days. Almost paid $99.99 earlier on Amazon but it went out of stock.

Awesome pot for those who haven't taken the dive. I made pulled pork just today. I've also made spaghetti, mac and cheese, gumbo and pho. This thing is getting used more and more as I find more recipes.

Soft boiled eggs come out perfect in these too. Consistent results every time. Or you can do hard boiled too. Rice comes out perfectly also. I have the secret to making perfect rice in these. Just as good as an expensive rice cooker.

What's the secret? I like my Panasonic fuzzy logic rice over instantpot rice. I made it once, tasted like 2 minute rice.

I have an older model so my way might not work as well because I think the newer models do low and high levels of pressure while the older models just had one level of pressurizing (high pressure). First measure out how much rice you want to use (lets say 2 cups). Rinse your rice first. It gets rid of starch on the rice plus it gets the rice wet. Then measure out the same amount of water as the amount of rice you measured earlier (so 2 cups of water).

On the pressure cooker hit the custom time button (older models its the "steam" button) and dial in 3 minutes of pressure cooking for Jasmine rice, or if you are doing basmati rice do 6 minutes, or if you are doing brown rice do 15 minutes. For both the jasmine and basmati rice after the 3 or 6 minutes is up the beeper will go off. DO NOT do a quick release depressurization of the pressure cooker. Instead let it naturally depressurize for exactly 10 minutes (set a timer or use the timer on your pressure cooker it counts up but does not alert you at the 10 minute mark).

Then after 10 minutes slide the vent to the side (there probably won't be any pressure in the unit but do it to be sure) then fluff the rice with a fork. The rice should be "al dente". Should be chewy, very nice. But some people don't like rice like that. If you are a weirdo Wink add a minute or two to the initial cooking time (the 3 or 6 minute time given above). Also for brown rice after it cooks for 15 minutes instead of waiting 10 minutes for the natural depressurization, wait 5 minutes, then do the quick release, let it vent out. Then open and fluff with a fork. Pretty easy when you do it a few times. You'll get consistent results. Just make sure to rinse the rice because it throws off the water to rice ratio if you forget. Also don't let the water sit in the rice for a long time. Rinse, add the water, and get cooking.

That method keeps things simple with water to rice ratios. You don't have to change that. You can always remember it as 1:1 water to rice. All you have to remember is the cooking times for each variety of rice and the amount of time for the natural depressurization.

OP, please change title, it is misleading.

The IPDUO60 is the 6QT model. That model is clearly not $55.99.

$55.99 is the IP DUO MINI
