About the product
-> Spanish Saffron is the finest spice in the world. Hand harvested from the crocus sativus flower, this is the absolutely indispensable ingredient in Spanish and Italian cooking

-> The Saffron from La Mancha accounts for a small portion of the world's production, but the quality is unmistakably superior to that grown in Turkey and India

-> These Deep red threads contain no waste that reduce the quality or add to cost; only the best of the best in our products!

-> Imported from Spain

Almost historic low as per camelcamelcamel. Good review (A grade rating on Fakespot).

Saffron is the most expensive spice in the world. There's a lot of fakes or low quality saffron out there. I'd rather just buy it at my local super market cause I know it will be good there rather than buying from a 3rd party company on Amazon.

Its somewhat cheaper than this during festive season (around October) at ethnic B&M stores.

You're relying on random-brand supermarket saffron - even if it is grotesquely overpriced - for quality? Good luck with that...

Known brand and well reviewed. Alma Gourmet is also a well regarded shop.
