I would like to upgrade but those reviews have 20% failure rate. Ouch.

Just a warning, the last 2 MSI cards I bought (a few months ago) I had to call and harass them to finally send me the mail in rebates. Pretty sure they had no intention of sending either one with out you yelling at them first.

How much better is this card (or any brand GTX 1060 3GB) than the GTX 1050 Ti 4GB? Is it worth paying $30 more for the 1060?

GTX 1050 Ti card for reference [newegg.com]

Great I just yesterday bought a EVGA single fan Gtx 1060 3gb for $210 after trying to hold out for a deal like this. Day late and dollar short, lol! Though as one other comment stated it's like pulling teeth sometimes to get those rebates

You need to watch some YouTube videos on Bayesian inference.

Any low profile versions of the 1060 for around this price? I'm only finding low profile 1050's. It's for my son's Dell SFF 9010. I was also thinking about getting that HP at Walmart for $399 with the GTX 1060 but I'd rather not buy a whole new PC.

Same here. Gigabyte 1060 3GB for $205. Only using a 1080p monitor so should be plenty for my kid on most all games, as well as "VR ready" stated on the box.

My kid has been dying for a VR setup eventually so hopefully this will be one piece closer.....

FWIW a thread I started complaining about it a little while back and a bunch of other people had the same experience. https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherMin...e_warning/ They showed up about 2 weeks after that call.

I have the same card and as much as I love it I gotta say I question its VR-readiness. I'm guessing it'd be a compromised experience.
