I got an LG Stylo 3 Plus for 49 from metropcs. You will see this offer in the middle of this page below. All I had to do was buy 1 months service at $30 (cheapest plan), and they didn't even charge activation fee. This was in store, and instant rebate. Awesome phone! Tmo coverage is really bad, but wifi calling on this phone makes up for it.

Is it locked to Metro or can you pop a Tmo sim in it?

Your deal better w/ 1 month free service. Not the best specs but this is a lot of phone for under $100. Tops in value so TU.

Did I miss something? I see "Get this phone for only $49 when you switch" on the link you provided but the link isn't active and if I'm on the Metro site I probably can't switch because I'm already on Metro.
Maybe it is store only as you mentioned but strange it'd be on their page.

Edit: Now your link forwards to the Metro main page. I searched for the phone and the same page is still there but still no way to visit the $49 option. Guess I'm going to have to visit a store (groan).

I had the Stylo 2 with Boost and it was the hands down the slowest, laggiest phone I've ever used, and it ran out of storage really fast even though I really didn't have that many apps on my phone and I didn't use it intensively. I've never used the Stylo 3 so I don't know if it's better, but it does have the same amount of RAM and memory. Just something to keep in mind.

Sorry took so long to respond. Yes, the $49 is in-store only and it's an instant rebate. I paid about $83 with tax for the phone and $30 plan.

Locked for 3 months to metro. To unlock you either wait the 3 months, or pay about $30 on ebay for unlock with "device unlock app" which is already on the phone. Search slickdeals for metropcs, as there are many older threads with lots of comments discussing compatibility and unlocking.

I am not sure where the mail-in-rebate comes from. The Boost Mobile doesn't know this offer.
