I've been looking for a knife for my wife and she would love the purple color on this one. But I'm wondering if this one will be too big... she has small hands, so maybe the Scallion or Chive would be better?

What in the hell is with all the down votes on Leeks, some anti knife movement going on here on SD or something. I posted the Olive colored one and got the same reaction. This is a good price on great knife the colored versions do not go on sale often.

I think for even someone with very small hands the Leek would be a perfect fit. I wouldn't consider it big at all. The Scallion and Chive are pretty tiny. Larger is going to give a better grip. Comes down to personal preference. The Leeks blade is somewhat fine and not what I consider a beater but would give some confidence for self protection. The Scallion or Chive may be more useful for everyday tasks.

Well good, we got the deal back up to neutral anyway. If anyone would like green for $33 versus purple here's my deal that is getting very little love also.

I actually have this exact knife (even the purple color) and my wife's hands are quite small and she loves using this knife. It also works for my hands that are almost double her's. Just way it curves makes it fit pretty comfortably in any size hand.

The two you mentioned are so tiny that my wife doesn't like them much when she tried them at work.
