Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit - $59 on Amazon Treasure Truck

$59.00

The Amazon Treasure Truck has the Star Wars Droid Inventor kit for $59 today (40% off retail), Lowest price I've seen for a pretty popular toy this holiday.

To order this, you will need the Amazon app.

On the iOS version (not sure if it's the same for Android); go to Menu > See All Programs > Treasure Truck.

Once you order it, you'll have to pick it up from the truck by a certain time (usually around 8:00pm local time).

Here is the product link on Amazon:

Is this confirmed? Also, it looks like there is no "truck" in my area, so will Amazon.com PM it for me?

I don't believe so, the prices are only good on the treasure truck.

Gotcha, I figured...then what the heck is the point of these trucks? I live in Columbus, OH and there isn't anything near me.

I seriously doubt there are any "Amazon Treasure Trucks" in my area, but where would one check for such things on Amazon's site?

In anyone experience with the treasure truck, does it ever reappear offered at a sold out location? In my case all the Manhattan spots are sold out but it is available in Brooklyn. Just curious if it is worth continuing to check for Manhattan locations to pop back up with offers.

Thanks

Wonder how close you have to be to the city to get notified? I put in my home zip which is 30 miles from Pittsburgh. (They are not there yet, but hoping I'll get notified when/if they come here)
