Great printer so far. I got this last time.
Does anyone know why my prints are bit dimensionally accurate? For example, I'll design a 20mm diameter cylinder in Solidworks and when I measure it after removing it from the bed, it will measure only 19.1mm.

I've done a is calibration several times (tell printer to move 100mm, measure how much it actually moved, calculate new steps/mm value, etc) until I got it to perfectly move the distance I told it to. But when it comes to actually printing something, the parts aren't right and so I can't fit other parts that were designed to fit into others, etc.

1. are you using Simplify3D?
you need to be. worth every penny
2. increase your extrusion multiplier. just by a small amount (0.90 to maybe 0.92). That option may not be adjustable in some software
3. ask this question on a 3d printer forum. Thingverse has groups specific to nearly all printer brands
Example Tevo owners group thingverse [thingiverse.com]
4. Watch this guy named Brian on his 'the 3D print creator [youtube.com]' youtube channel. Guy is awesome - taught me almost everything I know.

Thank you. I will do all of this. I have simplify 3D and my extrusion multiplier is set to 100%. The prints look great, but they're dimensionally inaccurate.

The coupon doesn't work for me. I followed your link and entered it during checkout.

It says "The Code you entered has expired."
