Super neat little hubs. I have the USB 2 version of this and the power buttons are super nice. You can just leave your stuff plugged in and hit the button to "disconnect" them. I left my bluetooth adapter in mine so I could just turn it on and off easily and avoid any damage to the tiny little USB adapter by removing and replacing it every time I wanted to disconnect it.

The one I got DID NOT come with the power adapter, but still has a port to plug one in, you'll NEED power if you plan on connecting external hard drives to this hub, and it's not a micro-usb it's a super tiny round AC adapter port. Not a game breaker (since most people don't use hubs for external drives) but worth noting.

Wanted to use it for usb led lights, but this in in listing...

For a stable connection, the devices connected to the 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub must not exceed a combined current of 5 volts 900 mAh. External hard-drives should be connected to an external power source. This 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub will not charge your devices (it will only sync).

Too bad

You needed a powered hub for that many drives.

Promo code can't be applied. Is it cause this item has a lightening deal going on with it?

Poster is correct. Simply add it at the regular price and not the lightning price and it works. I purchased 2 and both were discounted. Nice Deal

Dunno how you managed to get two discounted - I was only able to get one.

That's an absurdly low current for 4 ports (less than two devices under USB2 specs for current). I'm hoping that's a mistake.
