I would consider adding some kind of description of what this thing even is. I have kids. I have kids that like Disney. I have never heard of this and have no clue what the regular price of this is.

it's a device designed to get $100 out of naive parents who don't realize ISPs have had parental controls free for the past 20 years, as well as a million other free software solutions

Agreed, it is more then just that though. I have configured lots of routers. I setup open DNS as well as DYNDNS services for filtering. This makes the process much easier and has many more controls. Turning internet on/off, limiting specific apps, setting bed times ect.

My 12 year old got around circle in less than a day. It's not for tech savvy kids.

I don't doubt it, but can you provide some details? What did he do to get by it? I will be honest though I don't have any notions that this cannot be bypassed. I am trying to keep from the kids accidentally stumbling on something they shouldn't.

Kids see stuff like this as a challenge to find out what parents don't want them to see. You put up a fence and they'll try to climb.

You'll figure it out after you move out of your parent's house and apply for a real job for a real company. And if our gene pool is unlucky enough. after you have your first child.

Agreed. I have this item and enjoy it's functionality. The trick is you have to be smarter than the child. I've worked in tech for 20yrs, including some big- name companies you've no doubt heard of. The last thing I want to do after a 16hr day is extend my tech support into my home life. This mitigates it well.
