What does "$6.00 to $9.00" on the rebate form mean? The SSD kit is $9.99.

SSD kit is $9.00 now. Case fan is $6.00. The prices update a few minutes after the sale starts at midnight Pacific time.

it means if the item cost is $6, you get $6 back, if item is $9, you get $9 back

if both items are on the same rebate and you bought both items on same order, you get $15 back ($6 + $9)

the dock is tempting but I already have so many FAR docks, usb 3.0 hubs and sd card readers that I cannot justify $13.99 for an all-in-one

In for another rebate. I'm already filling out 9 rebates to send in now, so why not another?

They never seem to have 14cm fans.

I'm tired of these Newegg rebates. I sent in a few and still waiting for my rebates. One of them is a money maker and they wanted me to resubmit the rebate. I bet it's done intentionally because this has happened before too where the rebate amount is higher than the purchase price.

140's occasionally come up for FAR, but 120's are far more common.... at least in a 7 to 1 (or more) ratio of 120s to 140s.

Newegg has had case cooling sales where fans are like $1 or $2 without rebates before.

My thoughts as well. With CB sites, and CC rewards, I basically broke even and I do need a 80 mm fan. The adapter, don't really need, but it's one extra UPC at this point.

I'm starting to experience rebate fatigue too... Hey Newegg, if you're listening, (we love you and all, but) now would be the time for a really exciting haul. PM me for suggestions what it might contain. Smilie

I skipped today's rebates too because I don't need any of these items that bad. I need 3.5" to 5.25" bay adapters but not 2.5" to 3.5".

Just now I went to fill out some rebates and noticed for 1 rebate I somehow placed 2 separate orders. In prior threads I thought people said you just submit the same rebate twice with different items in different envelopes. Then some people said they will deny the second rebate they receive for the same offer even if it's for different items. I don't know if that's true or was trolling because I remember a discussion saying if an order for items all on the same rebate form gets split to different invoices when Newegg ships it (which is effectively different orders), just do the rebate process for each invoice separately in separate envelopes even though it's the same rebate offer.

At least 1 person said send both rebates in the same envelope, but the rebate terms clearly say 1 rebate submission per envelope. Nowhere does the rebate form say you can't submit the same rebate again for different items in a different envelope for the same person/address.

What is the correct way to proceed? Should I do a second submission of the same rebate for the different item in a different envelope, or am I screwed in which case maybe I should return 1 of the orders to Newegg (it's a very small item and shouldn't cost much to ship back)?
