I've had this for the past two seasons and it works awesome.
The 20v goes quite a while and the power is more than sufficient.
Yes, the 40v is newer and will obviously last longer, but I can't imagine it possibly works better.

I bought the LHT2220 last summer, & only used it once. But, it was a big improvement over the corded version I've had for years. The battery lasted longer than I expected.
I'm not sure of the difference, except the battery on mine locks under the handle, vs behind, as it does on this one.

I guess this discount can be combined with the 20% back Amazon Prime Visa deal.

This trimmer is great. It cycles at a slower rate than corded, but goes and goes. I've got 5 tools on the 20v B&D and none disappoint.

If you wait until the end of summer, this has been marked down to ~$25 at Wal-Mart the last 2 years.
