$20 off Apple TV 4K (both sizes) at Sam’s Club

As part of its "One Day Only Savings Event", Sam's Club is taking $20 off the regular price of the latest generation Apple TV 4K. Both for 32 GB and 64 GB models.

I got the local Target to price match and used Red Card for another 5% off, bringing total for 32 GB to $151.87, pre-tax.

Right!

But not everyone (me included) wants to go through the hassle of subscribing and cancelling, especially with a phone company. And this ends up being about the same price.

Or maybe someone wants a deal on the larger capacity version.

Honestly it's not much of a hassle you can cancel online. I did it with a previous account . It's actually cheaper with the dtvnow 140 plus tax.

Agreed.

At $140, the Direct TV deal is stronger.

Then, pay it up...!!!

BTW, how much is Sam's club member fee...? You should average it out on the number of your purchases in a year.

I didn't get it at Sam's Club, I just used it for the Target PM + additional 5% Red Card.

Eh.

Some people don't want to wait 3-4 weeks for an Apple TV they get through a rebate while paying for a full month's service and not having a device to watch it on.

YMMV. If the Direct TV/ATT deal is worth the hoop jumping for you, then it's also a solid deal obviously.

The 4K rarely goes on any type of discount so $30 off without doing anything but going to Customer Service in a b&m and walking out with it is not unsubstantial or that big a hassle.

Bummer.

Local Targets here (Central Ohio) are pretty good about both, provided you can show Sam's and Costco have it in-stock in-store.

The other thread shows it's a love/hate.

Some people report no problems, while others report it's practically unusable.

If you have meijer you can get $20 off $100 and you also get $25 coupon. That's better than this one.
