For anyone thinking about it, you're in one of the easiest walks you could ever do, the reason why it's 2 hours is because you're going to be spending a ton of time in traffic. Wink Having said that, for $1 it might be nice to sit and ride around, but personally I'd take the time to be able to just walk there and actually experience the inside of everything, go inside of Macys Bryant Park, etc ...

Tour Route:
Bryant Park
Radio City
Central Park
Times Square
Pier 78
42nd Street
Madison Square Garden
Macy's
Empire State Building
Fifth Ave Windows
Rockefeller Center/Tree
Ending at Uptown Loop stop (47th and 7th)

Just as a FYI, This tour is 90% cheaper than usual and requires you to sign a photo/video release in order to board. Expect the possibility of being on a TV show of some type. Worth doing if you are visiting the city tomorrow.

Good deal basically free if you are in the area but this guy is right. If you want to experience these areas in better fashion take his suggestion. Also note it has gotten pretty chilly in NYC the past few weeks so go prepared.

Wonder what the Holiday Surprise is EEK!

While this is true and preferred, not all are physically capable of walking everywhere due to any number of reasons. This should be a good guided tour for those that have not been to NYC before and can determine if they want to walk the route later to actually go inside some of the locations or just spend additional time at a location. Says it's holiday themed, so perhaps that's a bonus...and it's cheap.

yeah... if you're taking the bus to see these places prepare to be disappointed. In fact, visiting NYC during HOLIDAY season is one of the most stressful ideas ever. Tons of car AND human traffic, legit you'll be lucky to find standing space at the popular tourist spots (everything included in this tour basically).

Still, if you just wanted to "check these spots off your list" this is probably the easiest way to do it, but you'll barely experience them properly.

I'm a NYer and this deal is tempting! I guess it's good for the older folks who can't walk too much or if you want to take photos from a different vantage point of you can get on the upper deck. What's the original price of this?

The Special Holiday Surprise was that 98 degrees (the boy band) showed up. In case anyone was curious. Hence the cost being 98 cents.
