First post here, I used to be on FW, time to give back to SD audience.

This is the Best deal I have seen on a Pioneer HD Radio with Apple Carplay, Android Auto, DVD. Model AVH-2330NEX (with HD) but similar great savings on the AVH-2300NEX (no HD) and maybe other AVH models.

$395 - free shipping
-5% with Extra 5% Off w/ Promo Code : NEWEGGAUTOGM, ends 12/23
-50 Visa Rebate card

$325.23 Net cost in most states with no tax

This is buying from "Drive In Autosound" which is an authorized Pioneer Dealer and qualifies for the current rebate. Make sure the seller is Drive In Autosound to qualify for the rebate. The price beats Crutchfield by more than $100 even with their discounted gear. Crutchfield would NOT match the price, I tried. If you have this radio, please reply to the post and give thoughts. I ordered it.

Which one did you end up getting? The one I got for the 4100 in my Mustang worked great, but I can't remember where I got it for the life of me.

I ordered the bypass from an ebay seller with excellent ratings and a low price of 6.99 shipped.

FWIW, I don't know if you're replacing the unit in your Mustang with this newer one, but the wiring harness on my 5700BHS is the exact same as this one. Meaning: I just have to drop my dash and this new unit with Android Auto is plug-and-play. I think I'm gonna bight on this just for that reason.

To add detail. The bypass I got from the link above on ebay works flawlessly and removes all frustrations about using the system, testing the system, etc. It also made the system easier to wire. I installed the whole thing myself with a Maestro ADS RR system that retained all of my steering controls, USB, etc. It also added car data from the OBD2 system so now I can see my tire pressure, temps, speed, gauges, etc on this radio, which is cool. I really like Android Auto. I also am glad I paid the extra for HD radio on this model vs the 2300 model. Installation went fairly smoothly on my FJ Cruiser with the Maestro wiring kit for my car as well.

The truck I'm putting mine in already has a Pioneer AVH-X2500BT in it. I'm hoping that the harness that was installed with just plugs right into the 2330. The only thing I'm unsure of is the Maestro kit. I got it for my 2013 Mustang when I installed my AVH-4100NEX in there and it worked flawlessly. However, I don't have steering wheel controls in my truck. I'm actually hunting for a steering wheel with the controls built in, but I'm still not 100% sure it will plug right in. I'm assuming Ford wouldn't have a separate wiring harness for non-steering wheel control trucks, but who knows.

Should I get the Maestro anyway, so I can at least read the OBD2 system? It's an 2008 F-350 turbo diesel, so I'm not sure what I'll actually be able to pull from it. Maybe tire pressure (only indicator lights now). My Mustang didn't show the pressure in the OEM dash, but did show it in the stereo... but it was a 2013.

The crutchfield site gave me guidance on what would work with my vehicle.... although I did not buy from them. Add the radio to your cart and see what the options are for your truck. The OBD2 stuff is not that exciting but my FJ had steering controls that I wanted to retain. If your vehicle has TPM I'd guess that info would come through though.

BTW, you can read more OBD2 data separately with a 12 dollar Bluetooth reader and your phone. ...with the App Torque. It is worth buying the app. U can reset check engine lights and more.

I have the Kiwi 3 OBD2 adapter, which is great.

As for rebate, I was just about to send mine off when I noticed the rebate instructions say the full address of the seller must be listed. I usually print off the NewEgg invoice for rebates, but it just says "Drive In Autosound". Seems like a good reason for them to reject my rebate.
