Not a smoking deal but best price so far I've seen for the NetGear Arlo Pro 2, 4 camera system. I just bought this last week as an upgrade to the Arlo Pro and like it much better. It was $750 at the time so I'm going to try to get a price adjustment from Best Buy whenever they open up.

Was successful in getting the price match, for those who may have bought and are still within the return window...

The following is not exact, but gives an rough idea:

Arlo Pro 2: 4 camera kit @ $700: $175 "per camera"

Costco Alro Pro: 3 camera kit @ $350-450: $116-150 "per camera" ( kit has extra battery + pedestal mount )

This is not comparable. The Arlo Pro 2 are 1080p and can record continuous (with a power stocking). The Arlo Pro is only 720p and cannot record continuously.
Thumbs up this is a good price, I have both systems pro and pro 2, there is a good difference in quality. Arlo Pro is still a great system.

At this price, wouldn't a high quality system installed by a company cost about the same?

Hi Technogy,

OF COURSE - and also there's a lot more than just resolution to consider! Lots more...

I just wanted to break things down quickly on a rough per "camera" price, you and others we welcome to do a much more details comparison and contrast.

HI Dealgrabber,

You can find a really nice IP PoE 4K kit for just a bit more, however professional installation will be significantly more. If you're willing to DIY you can save a lot of money and get a nice setup.

Is installation usually more than $500 or so?

Hi Dealgrabber,

Varies depending on your buildings construction, your state, the contractor, and numerous options in terms of how the cable will be routed.

iirc I had a link to data on professional installation in the wiki here"
