I understand the SD twitch ... where you buy super fast and think about it later. And many times I indulge in this myself, but usually there are good reviews, so I can give myself the illusion that I got a good deal.

On Amazon if 4 out of 5 people give it 1 star and say it sucks.

And Walmart out of 34 people 21 people say it sucks and give it only 1 star ... I have to wonder ... maybe this device sucks ... it's not even a 50/50 percent chance that is doesn't suck ... 80 percent chance it sucks. Smilie

I guess you can gift it to someone you feel passive aggressive about ... so it looks like you care about them.

Not good for much, that's why it is worth joining HP Instant Ink Program. The regular HP 65 cartridges only get approximately 100 to 125 pages. The setup cartridges get much less! You need to use the setup cartridges first when setting up printer for first time use, otherwise you will get an error message.

Thanks, I was wondering about Instant Ink eligibility. Best Buy expressly mentions it on the product page [bestbuy.com] for the refurbished version of this model.

3 month free trial for instant ink program using link below. You will get 3 months free trial as well and trial doesn't start till you run out of the original cartridge that comes with the printer. They will ship the ink free to you within few days so it's there before you run out of original cartridges. You can cancel anytime.

i got the 2624 model on BF, still on original cartridges and HP already sent the first free ink cartridge.
Do you happen to know the differences between your model and the 2652?
