I run two of these bought from last time sale at this price.

Pretty easy to setup raid, need to run a software from your desktop initially to set up the raid, after that the box can be connected to any machine with usb and the disk array will show up as like any usb drive.

I bought this for the raid and fans it came with to keep the disks cool, something usb enclosure don't usually have. I had hoped the usb may bring fast speed than NAS, yet it's about indifferent.

This listing is only raid 5 model. Here is a link to some of their NAS stuff: https://smile.amazon.com/TerraMas...B01M4IQ506

I bought TerraMaster F2-420 NAS Server 2-Bay Intel Quad Core 2.0GHz 4GB RAM the other day for $180 (there was a lightning sale and a coupon). I put FreeNAS on it, bumped the ram to 8GB with a 4GB SO-DIMM out of my Mac Mini upgrade. (and took off their OS).

To own a coin, such as Bitcoin, is to own its private key, which is stored electronically. Lose the storage, lose the coin.
see: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/othe...2D11669738 (those coins are now worth 72 million)

Is this RAID 5 only? Or can it be RAID 10, etc?

The description comparison chart only lists RAID 5 but lists many options for the 4 bay version.
