Costco has perhaps the best return policies in the business.

QLED (Samsung marketing speak on LED + color improvements)
==
While not quite OLED in black levels and motion blur, the QLED line has the best color performance of all TVs (including OLEDs). Best color gamut and saturation.

Here is an rtings article comparing the QLED, OLED and LED tech:

Qled is not OLED. QLED is still an LCD panel with a backlight

This is deceptively marketed and not OLED, like the LG panel you mentioned. They really shouldn't be encouraged to pull this type of thing, it is an LCD based display, and the contrast is not even close to an actual OLED TV.

It still says it is comparable to an LG OLED... it really isn't even close.

Added an rtings links comparing the three techs
Seems like color reproduction is great, but blacks not at par with OLED. However no burn-in issues with QLED

OLED's have better blacks, but QLEDs have better colors. Pick your poison. This TV is literally 3 times as bright as this year's LG/Sony OLED (LG manufactures the panels for both). When you see a candle or fire or sun on the screen, it's actually bright. I just bought the TV after a lot of back and forth. It looks great. The blacks are *much* better than my last LCD TV, tho definitely not as good as OLEDs. Shadowy content is also better than the LG OLED TVs -- they struggle with colors at low intensity because the OLED pixel does both color and intensity (whereas the color filter and blacklight are separate on QLEDs/LEDs). n.b. Sony OLEDs do some post-processing to improve low-light content vs the LG TVs.

imo, the biggest downside is that the Samsung TVs don't have Dolby Vision, which is the most popular standard for HDR content.

They're different technologies, each with pros and cons.
