4myrebate documentation not received

392 100 December 17, 2017 at 03:35 PM
I recently did a Rosewill rebate through 4myrebate.

I sent the rebate in (signed form, original UPC, invoice) on 12/2/2017. I even cut out and used the address label printed with the form.

Now I received an email saying they didn't receive it.

Our records indicate that you have recently completed your online rebate registration. This is a friendly reminder that our processing center has not received your documentation.

If you have just recently mailed in your rebate documentation, please disregard this email.

1) If you mailed your documents more than 10 days ago, we recommend you resend copies of your rebate submission as this will help us validate your rebate and avoid delays.

2) If you have not yet mailed your documents please remember that:

• Failure to receive the required documentation will lead to claim closure.
• Check your rebate form for accuracy.
• Ensure all required documents are attached.
• Submissions must be mailed one per envelope.
• Your submission must be postmarked on or before the "postmark by" date.
• Be sure to keep copies of all submitted paperwork.
Below is the summary of your rebate registration information:

It says I can send a copy, so I can send my scanned copy, but then it won't have the original UPC, and they could reject it.

I've emailed them and will call this week, but has anyone encountered this before?

Update: They received/processed/approved the rebate today.

I keep on getting such emails but ultimately they do get the mails. I would say wait until about January 5 and keep checking your tracking number. If they still do not get it then give them a call. I hope you have kept a copy of rebate documents.

They got a huge backlog...I mailed a bunch to them on 11/30 and only today did they show up as received on their site so yeah, it takes awhile.

I received that email for one of my rebates. I sent in a copy of my rebate since they didn't get the original. I checked later on and it says my rebate is approved. Not sure if they processed the original or my copy (I wrote on the copy that it was a resubmission). I've heard that people could upload missing documentation so I might try that next time instead of using another stamp and envelope.

This usually happens if you register for a rebate immediately after placing your order and your order ships via DHL. DHL is extremely slow. It takes a week for an order shipped from CA to reach the Midwest and probably longer if you're on the East coast. Even if you mail the rebate immediately after receiving the package, it will likely still take another 2-3 days to reach the rebate center and a few more days for someone to actually open the envelope. The reminder email probably goes out at around a 2-week mark after registration and in this case you get a false alarm because a week or more of that time is eaten up by shipping time. In every case in the past I just had to wait a few more days and status always changed to Approved. I never contacted them. To avoid this issue, I usually register for rebates immediately after placing an order only if it's an MM deal.

Thanks, the status turned to received and approved. You're probably right about it just being a scheduled 2 week reminder email.

I filled out all the correct information and did it on line because it said it was faster. Everything was good however when I went to print it out .....my stupid printer had no ink and it will not let me print it again.
I fell like a retard, is there anyway I can still get my rebate of $10.00? Tracking no. I have. Please help me out. akelley@stny.rr.com

Go to the website for your rebate and click the link that says "Track A Rebate" or something similar to that. Put in your tracking number and zip code and it should let you access your rebate to print it.

I've noticed that 4myrebate has not been as reliable as the TigerDirect days. I've had several not show up which I had to resubmit, and just had two in which they said the UPC was not enclosed. In looking at the scans of what they received, it seems that the bottom of the form (where the UPC and mailing address label would have been) was "cut off". Not sure if it's carelessness, but keep an eye on your submissions.
