Macy's had the same special and I bought this one + the set of 3 frying pans. The sauté pan not only came damaged (bent and with a shaky handle), but looked so flimsy that instead of exchange I returned it. Not recommended and can't imagine how the original price (something like $60) can make any sense. I've purchased T-Fal previously and was very pleased with the quality but not this time.

Seems like T-Fal without the red down is really cheaply made. I only buy the ones with it .

You want TFal Professional or Ultimate lines. Much better quality usually than the cheaper TFal products.

Bought one of these a few years ago and the lid shattered into diamond sized pieces just from the faint vibration of closing the cabinet door one day. What a mess to clean up. The pan itself is fine and still in use.

Had one of these and it warped in just a month. Almost useless. The aluminum is like an eighth inch thick. It might be better on glass stove tops but I think it didn't fare well with my cooked stove.
