Seems the waveform should be acceptable for most, certainly better than the cheaper versions with modified square wave:

Question: Pure sine wave? or Modified?
Answer: It is in between. Though not pure sine wave, it has many little steps, vs Modified (modified square wave) which is simply 0 + 0 - 0 + 0 - 0 +... (3 status levels) A very good explanation and comparison graphs are shown at: https://linustechtips.com/main/to...-best-ups/ Hope this helps.

Incredible deal on the 1500. Bought this when it was well over $200 a few years back. Kept my work computer nice and safe during lightning storms, haven't had loss of data once. Battery still in good condition too

Good price, though I'm spoiled by my Cyberpower with USB charging ports on the front, giving me a handy place to recharge in a power outage.

Tempting. Would these be recommended for a small xeon-d server and 5 bay synology NAS? Power draw is small

I see a 4 yr square trade warranty for $5.18 on the 1500. Thoughts on whether this would cover a failing battery 4 years from now? Likelihood of battery wearing out within 4 yrs?

Battery most likely will not fail within 4 years.

does it do power conditioning also like APC HT10 or HT15? Thinking for using with home theater stuff to hook up like AVR, Blueray player, and bunch of other things...

im not one of those "sine" people, but there was a recent deal for 1500va sine unit for $120 on amazon not long ago.

i think these prices would be good deal if they were sine. however, over the past year most deals i have seen for 1350va simulated sine units have been under $100

I have the br1500g with the SD rebate card. Just got the rebate the last week and bought late August. This is a decent deal without rebates for apc
