I'm still patiently waiting for a 1TB Samsung M.2 NVMe to come in right around $300-$400 EVO or $$500 PRO.
Also fark Ajit Pai.

Let's have a little discussion. Smilie

Look, if money is no big deal to you, this argument is null. I get it. But is having a large SSD worth the money? You're buying an SSD for speed. The capacities we commonly see for these SSDs are generally not large enough for most of us. 1TB might be for some, but 500GB is for barely anybody anymore. So this requires you to have a secondary larger cheaper HDD. Put your OS and installed programs on the SSD and store all your videos/photos/files on the HDD. Works great. So why spend the money on a large SSD when you could buy the 250GB SSD and a 4TB HDD for less money than this deal and have way more storage space?

Even if you don't agree with my numbers, the point may still be valid. Just a discussion. Smilie

You're forgetting people that game. A 250gb SSD is not going to hold many games where load times are going to benefit greatly using a SSD. I have this drive and a 1TB Samsung EVO 960 nvme drive as my boot drive. Holds all my stuff. Photos and videos taken by my phone are all stored in the cloud via Google Photos. And I have a NAS and 8tb external drive for additional storage and backups.

This a good deal? I can't really tell.
If only someone had invented a website with a search engine that could answer that... :p

tl;dr: Yes, it is. it's the cheapest price that does not require memberships or student accounts in a very, very long time. The only exception was an Amazon Warehouse deal a few months ago but it was practically dead on arrival, so I don't think it really counts.

When its on sale, its at least $280ish.

For this $260 price, you can only get it as refurbished.

It is a good deal if you want to get it now.
