I bought this monitor when it was 350 at bestbuy and it is worth my money, just be careful when buying open box i bought one and the outer box said it was rev A07 but the monitor was actually Rev A00 had to argue with bestbuy to take it back and finally had to send it back because the store would not accept it

How did you verify that?

i have a rev A04 and dont have any issues stated by other people.
Hit or miss i guess. Legit monitor. Worth if you are on the fence about it.

Definitely need to adjust the colors on monitor and in nvidia control panels. looks great afterwards.

The only thing I can find is that older revisions like the A00/A04 has reliability issues where it turns off randomly.

Can you rotate the monitor to be vertical rather than horizontal?

Much more than that. They have worse overshoot ghosting, black crush, and color banding. You really can't fix it without losing color depth. They also tend to have a flicker issue. At least the early ones. The 04 model is said to be less grainier but more cloudy than the 07.

I am using HDMI cable for this monitor. The problem is I do not know what version my cable is. It is Rocketfish red and grey. Anybody know how to tell if I need faster cable? Right now the display is on, but I do not know if I am using faster HDMI cable, the performance will be better. TIA

The screen rotate, I guess the vertical setup is in the WINDOWS display setting?

I would use display port if it has the option. I tried using dvi and HDMI and only display port would get 144hz working. (different 144hz monitor)

edit: clarifying
