I recently purchased the Studio 590 tower speakers. It works well together with those front speakers.I generally hate center speakers. They always sound boxy to me. This speaker avoids that unless you really crank it.
Add TWO to get them for $899 Wink

What kinda receiver would like need to supply adequate power for these bad boys? Feel like they may be overkill for my home theater setup ( 12' x 14')

I'd say pretty much any receiver That supports 6 ohm speakers from $200ish entry level receivers all the way up. The more money you spend on a decent source and amplification, up to and including, a dedicated separate amplifier will continue to make them sound even better, but with diminishing returns. These speakers are pretty efficient. If you are looking for advice on a new receiver I personally would not spend below $400 or so (slickdeals money) since the speakers are so good they deserve a decent source and amplifier. I run crown xls1502 amplifiers on both my sets of 590's.

they are like 92db sensitivity, 100 watts each is plenty.

That's for a different speaker. The 290.

They'll mop the floor with the Polks. Tremendous value with these.

Seems like a good speaker as well. But this deal thread is about the 590 which is over 55% off. The 290 is 33% off regularly as well. Different technology too, with arguably better specs on the 590 for only $100 more. (Compression drivers) If the 290 were $400-500 a pair then it would be a harder choice
