Saw a good deal on a USB 3.0 to SATA dual HDD/SSD external dock on Amazon for $21.99 after coupon code. It's by Alxum and looks fairly well reviewed.

I'm not sure if I agree on well reviewed with only 21 total reviews and only a handful are positive. I'm worried about data integrity and corruption.

Good price though, but I think I might pass...

Looks identical to the UNITEK on the popular page and cheaper than that

About the same price as other external sata to USB3 enclosures that support 3.5, but supports 2 drives, and 2.5", and has a cloning function.. Looks great, I've been looking for something to plug my old HD's into.

How did you find a Promo Code for a random off brand?

I dont trust this. Only 4 stars and 21 reviews, gotta assume half are from the company, because the user pics uploaded "blurred out" the logos of the drives in the bays -- clearly corporate behavior, not regular people reviews. Reports of it breaking down in 2 months.. yikes.

I'd go for a 4.5 Star brand with HUNDREDS of reviews for $10 bucks more.

Which one specifically are you speaking about? Wave

quick feedback here...since deal is still going on...got the unit next day delivery for free...here's my testing so far:

I have only tested 3.5" std spinning HD's two Samsung 400gb SATA 3 drives. the unit will not spin up two at once...that's right with both plugged in it tries to spin each up at once and then winds down, then tries again, over and over. So if I put in drive A (slot in the back) and power it up it works and windows mounts the volume...then while the unit is on I installed the second (drive B, front slot) and it dropped the mount of A, paused a moment and then brought both dives online at the same time. Odd...wonder if it would do the same with two SSDs plugged in...thinking it could be a start up pwr issue?

Then I tested the clone feature...it works, but will probably never use it. I took both drives formatted and created a txt file on A. Then you have to safetly remove the device form windows...this unmounts the drives...the drives are still spinning and on. Then I help the clone button for 3 seconds...waited for the 25% led to flash...then I pressed the clone button again and it started to clone...it took 1 hour to clone the one text file from drive A to drive B...LOL, seems like it did a block for block clone...it even cloned the drive name. This feature could be nice if you wanted to clone your OS drive to a back up drive?

Well, the hardware doesn't know anything about filesystems, so all it can do is copy the two drives block for block. That is also the safest way to go. If you want something that clones faster but might lose data, you can use software-based disk copying tools...
