I have had this item on my wishlist for a while because I like their wired earbuds, this is the lowest price I have ever seen (lowest in last 90 days). Retail @$40 and usually around $30.
Figured I would give them a try

those negative reviews seem to point to a consistent theme - poor quality battery. Many seem to report short battery life and/or stop working after a few months.

FWIW, these Ergo-Fit earbuds are the most comfortable earbuds I have. I have small ears, and these oval-shaped earbuds are the best comfort fit tips I have. I have tried the gamut of sub $20 earbuds, and I use these consistently multiple hours a day at my office (joy of cubicles..). Most earbuds, even my expensive foam-tipped Sure IEMs (in-ear-monitors), cause fatigue after 1-2 hours. So... for $13. I'm in--for two!

I liked the sound and fit of my old wired Panasonic ErgoFit headphones, so I'm inclined to try them. Buy the shaky battery life mentioned on the reviews on Amazon is a turn-off.

These or a set of Anker Curve or Surge for a sub-$20 BT headset for working outside?

I love my wired Panasonic ErgoFit - I also have small ears and these have been the best headphones I've owned in terms of comfort.

In for 2! Squaretrade 2 year is only 95 cents, so that shields me a bit from battery concerns.

The code AMEXAUDIO doesn't work with AmexRewardPoint - "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."
