Never understood how these things work. The description says that certain devices will quick charge with this, and others won't. If you're using the OEM charger, why would that be?

I have a Nexus 6p and it says "(limited charging speeds)" for the device.

Because sometimes the charging speed is dependent on the cables themselves. Like DASH charging is not supported by a lot of cables.
