Generally well-reviewed but have been overshadowed by Uniden's R1 and R3.

The other thing to consider is that Radenso has stopped making the Pro and are developing a new detector. They say they will continue to support the discontinued models:

Wow.. someone's been doing their research. Smilie Nicely done.

These are both fine detectors. The SP is arguably the best detector you'll find in this price range. The Pro SE is much more capable and an upcoming firmware update should make it even better still.

Does it have blind spot monitoring filtering though? Can't find it in the newegg specs.

Currently using the Pro SE; it does to some extent, but probably not as good as newer radar detectors (Uniden R1/R3, etc.) It does a little better than my old Escort Redline for BSM.

Between DFR6 and Radenso SP, which one to choose? Or should I wait a bit longer for Amazon sale on DFR7?

Check out these range tests which include both of these detectors (DFR7 and XP are the same unit but with GPS added, detection performance is the same as DFR6 and SP)

https://www.vortexradar.com/2017/...-and-more/

In summary, the Radenso performed worse than the Uniden in terms of the detection range. If that's your primary factor in considering which one to get, the Uniden is probably the better choice.

You getting the BSM blasts? It doesn't drive you up the wall? Damn Audi's are the worst. BMWs too but not as bad.
