Dude, we get it, you are pissed at Adorama. You post this on EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR GUITAR SALES. I have bought from them 3 times now and everyone of them has been perfect. Every retailer is going to have horror stories. I have bought a Tele Elite, a Pro Strat, and a Vibrolux. I don't work for them, but they have been good to me. I'm beginning to wonder if you actually work for a competitor with your frequency of badmouthing them.

these thinlines look beautiful, but i see them for dirt cheap on craigslist all the time. What's the deal? Personally, if I get a tele, mexican, american, japanese or chinese, I want the original pickup configuration. not humbuckers.

the VM Jazz bass is currently selling for $300 on Musician's Friend.

Been playing for a couple of years. For $200, I think these are worth it (plus 1-3 day business shipping) to get started.

Cannot play with them, cannot win with them, cannot coach with them. Can't do it.

Thought I'd share my recent experience with Adorama….. I bought an Ibanez bass guitar from Adorama recently. It was obviously a return or open box item. The original Ibanez box seals were cut and it was resealed with Adorama tape. The packing inside was torn and scattered in the box. There was minor damage on the neck of the guitar. Another customer replied to the original deal thread saying they received a guitar that wasn't even in an Ibanez box. Adorama did offer a small (inadequate) partial refund which I accepted only because this was a gift and I didn't want the hassle and stress of finding a replacement and risk shipping deadlines this close to Christmas. Of course they were out of stock so a replacement from Adorama was not an option. Definitely a very big disappointment, negative experience and major hassle. Shame on Adorama for selling a return, display or open box item as new. Beware.

that's surprising. I ordered a black friday Gretsch 5420T for $500--a great deal. i was a little disappointed with the guitar, but the packaging and delivery were all fine. I thought about returning the guitar and contacted them and the immediately sent me a prepaid return shipping label for a full refunds, no questions asked. In the end I decided to keep the guitar and that a good setup would solve my problems, but I was impressed with Adorama's customer service. I would buy from them again.

When you get to the payment screen, look for an "enter gift card or promo code link". Should be above CC/Payment info.

Do these only work for these guitars/basses?

I want a Fender Jazzmaster or Jaguar (not Squier ☹️)

Just tried it on a Fender Jazzmaster. Code didn't work. I think it's just for the Squiers..
