Anyone else notice that you can bundle (at the bottom of the page) the Dell Visor Virtual Reality headset for free? These normally go for $449.00.

Grabbed one with the Dell vr headset. Cheaper than I could get just the laptop from Dell ATM even with our company purchase program. Bit more than I wanted to spend but I was looking at a 1060, but it's also going to be plug and play for me. So I guess in 4 1. For now. Lol I hate SD. Something better always comes along tomorrow.

Got one early this year for $1500 with tax. Great gaming laptop. Handles VR like a walk in the park. Fan noise is pretty high on heavy load but not unbearable. No problems with heat. If you're coming from an IPS display, you may be disappointed with the resolution. When I got the laptop the colors were way off. Even after tons of calibration it's not perfect. So I definitely recommend using this with a good external display.

Imho, a 1070 is overkill for a laptop (meant to be portable). A GTX 1060 would aptly suffice. Mechanical hard drives need to be vanquished going forward in the mobile computing market. I would MUCH rather have a 250gb SATA SSD and better yet, m.2 nvme rather than a spinning metal clunker.

I agree with you. But with the amount of space the operating system and games take up, you're only going to be able to play like 3 games with a 256gb SSD.
