More stuff I don't need. I'll pass, trying to catch up on all the rebates I have out now. Just mailed 5 more yesterday.

I think it's odd there's a molex connector on the back of the usb 3.0 PCI-E card. I'm guessing it's for additional power in case the power from PCI-E wasn't enough. I wonder what USB device would need that would need more than 25W of power.

Bought same card on amazon twice and neither worked with my MB. Think these may be faulty after seeing the reviews.

Looks almost useless from the reviews. Doesn't provide USB 3.0 speeds. Not only that, doesn't even give an internal header to connect to modern case USB 3.0 ports, which is typically the primary purpose of having such a card to upgrade from older motherboards that don't have USB 3.0.

The form is here:

https://images10.newegg.com/uploadfilesfornewegg/rebate/SH/Newegg/Rosewill2MIRs_11361Dec19Dec2517nm13.pdf

It has you process it online to then print the form to mail. You need the UPS off the package

Peace

Well its rare that anyone would install a usb 2 mb into a new case at this point.
Anything is better than usb 2.0 speeds that being said.

I'd almost be impressed if someone had a usb 1.0 mb with pci-e lol

Looks like some of those newegg reviewers were complaining about the slow write speed of their bargain basement usb flash drives, 20MB/s write speeds from a usb 3.0!

yep

One reviewer said this card short circuited and fried his USB devices. No thanks!

Any idea how long is the rebate window. I ordered something 2 months back, but too lazy to post a rebate
