I think they produce the same product under 2 different brand names (ANNKE & SANNCE), and you won't know which you're going to get.

The random comment is if they ship Annke or Saavce product but it sure looks funny to see "shipped at random"

This is what many businesses get to say "I have a camera system". Then when they are burglarized or vandalized, the video still of a blob gets released by the Police to get people's help in identifying the blob.

If you have expensive toys, why get a substandard system to protect them? This will tell you someone was there, but you won't get a good representation of that, and won't get a license plate.

Hi Deiutz,

Indeed... once you start reading more you'll see a number of other spots you maybe asking: "What the fark .. "

Such as "1080N"

What the fark is 1080N? -> hint no where close to 1080p

Thanks Chunkylemonmilk,

Yes, those two are tied to each other, although neither say so on their respective websites, with some digging you find that:

Their HK office is the same:
16 /F KOWLOON BUILDING, 555 NATHAN RD, MONGKOK, KLN HONG KONG

Also
https://www.fakespot.com/company/ANNKE

After researching the security camera market place, these brands ( Annke and Sannce ) should be avoided - they've been astroturfing and stuffing reviews in a number of locations, as well as using deceptive and fraudulent ads to sell you poorer quality products.

If you are new to the security camera space I've written up some notes to share in the wiki here, including a fuller review on some companies like Annke / Sannce

Folks, please listen to Mitch22 - he is spot on telling you this politely that this and the other Sannce and Annke systems you see are garbage. ( there has been only one camera which I have seen under the Annke brand which is an exception )

In this day, there is no reason to buy 720p cameras when you can find good quality and better 1080p cameras for a reasonable price.

Example of a decent brand - and much better system....

8 Channel DVR Security System with 4x Extreme HD 5MP cameras.. $319.00 right now ( part of La View's 12 days of Christmas deals, probably good for 2-3 days - just posted today )

It has no HDD - newegg currently has a 2TB WD Purple HDD for $65 iirc..

After so many camera systems over the last couple of years are no longer updated, has back doors installed, etc, I would stay away from any non reputable camera companies.

Some of their products used 3rd party app and is not very good. I would stay away from this brand. Q-See is much better.

Hi Phdo,

Try to narrow down what you need in a security camera - check out the ID distance list, and the notes in the Lorex 4K deal wiki.

If you are looking for a deal in the $300-400 range:

I would keep an eye out on LaView - they seem to have a few more deals popping up.
Newegg may yet surprise us with one also.

In general look for a kit which has at least 8 ports in case you want to add more cameras.

Hi Duplicating,

If I was a shill I would be telling you to buy this garbage or the zmodo / funlux garbage.
( from which we have seen numerous shills here and at other forums )

Also shills do not have a long history with any social media platform - they typically use new accounts.

Remember to calculate ROI when evaluating if someone is a shill. A shill does not have the time to share his knowledge - they only have time to post quick relies, and will not give you honest negative points of products.

I am sick and tired of the BS I have seen and read here and on Amazon - parting OUR good money from our pockets - and I do say our money - as I have a nice box of junk thanks to others here saying how great it is...

My grandpa just needs to know if the cattle gates have been left open, If there is water in the milking shed, etc. He's not a business, doesn't need license plates, I don't think anyone will rob him and steal a cow. This is what the purpose of the cameras will be for. I totally understand your point, but not everyone needs to spend $350-400 on a camera system.

Hi rberger976,

Even so, the price for this kit really is not really a deal.

Right now you can get a wyzecam 1080p wifi cloud cam for $20 which would be cheaper and address some of the issues you bring up.
[ also, 1080p gives you 2.25x the number of pixels vs 720p - grandpa may like that better ;-)

Functional requirements of:

Gate left open ..
Water level in ...

Sound like a something in the alarm sensor category would work better, as they can provide alerts.
