Price comes to $18.89 (free shipping with Prime) after clicking on the coupon. This is a good budget introduction to mechanical blues; I purchased one some months back on sale for $22.71 and have been pretty happy with it for the price.

Eh, I'll give it a shot. Need a keyboard for my Raspberry Pi anyway.

What do you use your pi for?

Got one last time it was on sale. Pretty nice keyboard. Base plate seems to be made out of aluminum. Very clicky blue switches. Leds are rainbow, which I thought I wouldn't like but it looks better than I expected.

Combining it with smartthings and the dash button deals. Get the button for $.99, get a $4.99 Amazon credit, and then use the pi to intercept the dash signal to Amazon and convert them to smart buttons.

I found this one [amazon.com] with a weird enter key and half-size left shift key with the backslash ( \ ) next to the left shift key (WHY) for $16.

Just googled this procedure, that's a pretty damn cool hack!

Is anyone out there busy cloning MX Reds? Those are by far my favorite for gaming. Especially if the clone has an even lighter actuation force.

still using this keyboard (geezer) from last time it was on sale and really like it.. altho having number keys is very nice i cant justify the 3x price increase.

fwiw I did side by side testing w/ this against the previous slickdeal Logitech G-whatever model with silent switches as well as a previous SD Razer with loud green switches and still like this cheapo model just fine and returned/sold the "nicer" others (WPM over 100 no prob, more expensive didn't make me faster and personally the logitech quiet keys had too long of a stroke and was significantly slower and more painful)
