"Deal of the Day" @ Amazon

Koss Porta Pro well regarded and well reviewed at a price lower than we've seen in some time.
* OPEN ear cup design, not closed.
  • Designed for Deep bass performance
  • Comfortable, secure fit with adjustable headband and multi-pivoting ear plates
  • Two adjustable temporal-comfort zone pads shift the pressure and perfectly balance the ear plates on your ear
  • Collapsible for maximum portability, includes carrying case
  • Connector Type: 1 x headphones (mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm)
Stodgy looks haven't changed in many years, but the bang for the buck is unbeatable.

I have owned these for more than ten years. And replaced them under Koss' unconditional warranty four times now. Great sound, comfy just a little fragile.

Lowest price ever, was about to pull the trigger on a couple of them. Then I realized nobody in this house has a phone with a headphone jack. If you do, this is a good deal.

Good deal. For $10 more you can get the Massdrop X version with a mic/remote. That may or may not be worth it for some people. It also has much thicker cables.

Love my Porta Pros. I would grab another pair if it weren't so close to Christmas.

i've had these for around the same amount of time & they're looking pretty drab. what's the warranty replacement process like? how would one go about requesting a replacement? i doubt i still have the original receipt... maybe i'll start keeping track of those.

in regard to these headphones - they're terrific for the size! just know you're getting a portable, old-school feeling, pair of comfortable headphones that leak sound out and look a little weird. really comfortable to wear around the house, listening in on conference calls in my home office, or podcasts while i clean the house. but i wouldn't wear these at the office or out in public. they' be too "noisy" to those around me.

Had one for a few years now. Style may not be for everyone. But the performance to price makes this a must have imo.

I wear these during my nightly walks. Nicer than in-ear type and stay on just as well. As far as warranty replacement, instructions on their site but couldn't be simpler - just mail them in with a s&h check, started out at $6, last time $9, and they mail you back a new set. I have sent in a baggie of broken pieces from one time two kids got in a fight over them - got a new one.

On Amazon? Do you mind providing a link? I searched "Massdrop" on Amazon and there is nothing near the price range you mentioned. Thanks.

To me, these are the best sounding headphones in the regular price range of this model. The best bass, clarity, just perfect sound for a light headphone.

Yes, they do not look the best, but I attached and connected an M-Pow Transmitter/Receiver to the side of them (making them look even worse...lol) so I can connect to my phone via bluetooth.

Works great for mowing the lawn!!!

I stand corrected, they sold out since I looked at them last night.

Alternatively, you can get replacement ear pads if it's still working fine

If you don't have a big head, they might fit awkwardly
