Worth the upgrade from an MSI 960 2gb ?
not really. common wisdom is that each generation is 1 level better than the one prior.

so a 960 and 1050ti are comparable. Now 4gb on the 1050 is better, but it really depends on what games you play. VRAM is really for texture (and resolution).

I personally have only 1 game that ever uses more than 3 with everything at high or ultra and it's Arkham Knigh and that thing is one of the worst pc ports ever, a complete VRAM hog.

Battlefiled 1 at Ultra settings at 1080p only uses 2.5gb for me.

The rx 580 is more comparable to the gtx 1060

No. If your going go spend money id atleast go with a 1060 but TBH just keep yours until next gen of cards and you would be happy.

The 390x is roughly equivalent to a 6gb 1060. You'd need to step up to a 1070 for an upgrade.

I bought a 1050ti mini for $125 on Amazon during BF. I thought that was a steal. It's up now to regular price.

The 1060 was just 170 very recently and blows this out of the water.

Good luck. Even if a sale happens, it will sell out in minutes

This version of the 1050 ti is terrible. The only reason we should be getting a 1050ti is the fact that it doesn't require a psu connector, otherwise buy the 1060 3gb for a little bit more.

Yeah isn't the 1060 3gb really close to this price? Lose 1gb vram but doubt the 1050ti can maximize the 4gb normally (chips are usually bottleneck before memory)
