I hate changing batteries. Need to use solar or plug it in.... just use less power.

Yep. Just got mine on Monday. Ordered 1+ months ago.

Good luck getting this in time for Valentine's day when their priority for shipping from China is minimal as hell.

I don't think those come with remote and timer. I ordered one a couple months ago and just got it. It's the most basic type, string with battery box. I like it for its price but wish it came with timer. For this price and quick shipping it's not bad.

Got my lights few days ago. I haven't realized they are battery powered but in hindsight it turned out to be good because I was able to put the lights in the places where otherwise I wouldn't do it or it would be not very convenient (like wrap around wreaths).

I scoffed at remote first but it's pretty handy, given that the button on the power block cycles through 8 modes of blinking which gets annoying fast. Remote allows to go directly to the desired mode. The only thing is remote is working via IR so the bottom of the battery box needs to be visible for it to work.

They seem to have a very simple timer feature, according to instructions - when activated the lights supposedly are on for 6 hours and then off for 18 hours. Changing mode of lighting cancels timer.

Overall, not bad for $9.79. Will see how long they last. BTW the list price on Amazon is $9.99 without any coupon code required anymore.
