15% off is pretty decent.

There have been some good eShop discounts lately, and those kinds of deals obviously stack with this.

Nintendo rarely puts their 1st party digital games on sale, but discounted eShop credit makes it at least worth considering buying digital when the advantages of digital ownership outweigh the down-sides.

You can never sell or gift digital games, but they can't be lost or stolen, and are easy to switch into and out of without getting off the couch and fumbling with cartridges. Great for multiplayer games (MK8DX), or games that you intend to keep forever and re-play (BOTW).

When I buy a game in the e store, can I pay partially with the gift card and partially credit card?

They got Hulu recently, so I'd say probably. Is it even in development right now though? I can't say for sure.

*EDIT: Sounds like Netflix should be sometime soon [express.co.uk].

Don't know if this applies to anyone else, but Nintendo will only allow you to keep $200 worth of credit on your Nintendo account. Keep that in mind if you are buying three of these e-gift cards and already have more than 50 dollars in your account.

Or join GCU at Best Buy and get 20% off ($30 for 2 years). probably better if you're buying more than one game a year.

But yes. Buy Mario and Zelda. I have Mario, but Zelda is next,.
