PRICE DROP: $199 now with coupon code Xmas328
If you just came to thumbs down just because it's a Chinese tablet that you haven't heard of, kindly just move on. This is a deal for those that understand what they are buying.

$199.99 https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-p...90462.html with coupon code: Xmas328

I ordered one for $207 last week. Deal came back. Check out www.techtablet.com for review. This is by far the best Chinese tablet available in it's price range. Excellent screen! Fast processor and lots of RAM. Be sure to check out comments regarding the latest update as they've fixed the issue with the touchscreen and the randomly minimizing app's. One of the few Chinese companies that continue to provide updates for their devices. Seems like a solid buy!

Because this is your first time hearing of them? Reviews seem to say otherwise.

I have two of these. Paid $220 for the first and $176 for the second. They are very good tablets.

Thank you! Finally someone who's tried them chimes in.
Too bad everybody is going to TD because it doesn't say Samsung on the front. Oh well, that's is why I rarely post anymore-- and probably won't in the future.

I have a Samsung Tab S 10.5" too. Have had it for a few yeard. It's a great tablet but getting older snd memory is an issue. Those app to sd apps are not reliable. Apps disappear, don't funtion...
The Teclast has an excellent resolution screen, it has almost zero bloatware, it's fast and the camera is pretty good too. It's lightweight snd is excellent build quality. Mostly metal an gorilla glass with a fingerprint reader.
Let one of these TD goofs find an Android tablet with the Teclast specs and quality for $180-$230.

if your review previous threads on teclast stuff(for example the x98) lots of people had problems, and no real luck getting service or replacements or at least not in any reasonable time frame

some people really liked them too, but if you got a bad unit or even just needed repair you were hosed. and that's a tough pill to swallow when for example, the tab S2 and the few other good android tablets with US support have been around this price point on here

Yeah that's the trade off with all the Chinese manufactures unfortunately. However, Teclast did recently release an Android 6 upgrade for the x98. While that may be an old version by today's standards, it at least shows that the company does eventually roll out updates-- but like you also said, not in a reasonable amount of time.
Mine arrives Friday!! I'm excited

Too new. Give it some time. Xda dev just released an unofficial android 7 rom for the x98 so I'm sure that they will come later

Shoot, was hoping this was a dual boot with Windows 10 like all the Chinese ones I've looked at in the past.

Received mine today, been using it the entire day. I updated it the moment I turned it on because I heard there were some initial issues before doing so.
It's fast, responsive, the screen is fantastic. Build quality looks and feels great. Synced up my bluetooth controller and played a few 3D games, streamed some stuff from Plex--- does everything I was hoping it would without any issues.
Next time I see a deal on one of these, I'll post with some feedback with my experience after a few weeks
