Nice find

Keep in mind that even though the store may show many available, they are often stolen and very hard to find.

I can't find any information about transfer speeds. Even at $3, I am not sure that waiting hours would be worth the frustration if you transfer large files often.

EDIT: For those who care, Google search [google.com] seems to indicate write speed somewhere between 3 and 7 MB/s

Where did you find them? Along with other flash drives or in the clearance area?

For peeps in S.E. IL. 62450 had 30 shown via Brickseek.

I found 14. They were located in the photo section in the front of the store.
Didn't ask about the other 16..

Peg they were on was marked $6.00 but scanned at $3.00.
Peg was full ( might be why only 14 were found ?? )

I left 4 on the peg just now.

Good Luck Everybody !!!

They were in the area of the flash drives, but on a separate metal stand along with SD Cards.

Added store to title. I though it automatically added it from the form to list the deal.

Found these drives at several stores in Austin.

is 2.0 considered to be "slow" when it is being used with rp3?

Got one of these some years ago, to backup & archive old photos. Haven't had a problem with it. Might be slow, but for my needs, write once and forget, that isn't an issue. Seems a bit flimsy though for day to day use. I can see it cracking after a while.
