No one should ever buy heavy duty batteries. They're nothing like alkaline.

They are all alkaline batteries. Just not very good ones. Shoppers has Kodak alkalines on sale all the time that I unfortunately got suckered into buying. They were terrible batteries too, going dead in my mouse in like 2 weeks.HomeDepot has Rayovac on sale for $5.48 for 30 this week..

Agree with Qwer38456. Heavy duty batteries will leak and corrode contacts if you leave them in when they die...
