LH Labs is a Indiegogo backed hifi audio company, not sure if they are going out of business or what but Amazon is getting rid of their DACs.

Ship and sold by Amazon.

Geek Pulse DAC [amazon.com] is $148, normally $519 !!DEAD!!

Geek Pulse DAC X [amazon.com] is $346, normally $808 !!DEAD!!

Geek Pulse DAC Infinity [amazon.com]is $594, normally $1448 !!DEAD!!

This is their Indiegogo page where they talk about these DACs:
https://www.indiegogo.com/project...audio--4#/

If you ever wondered how would a $2k DAC sound when compared to your onboard sound card, this is your chance. We're talking about 32 bits, 384 kHz AND MADE IN USA.

It's "LH Labs" not JH.

Most of these DACs were designed, released in 2013/14, but they never made enough to cover the initial Indigogo obligations. A lot of folks are still waiting.

You can hear the long sad story by Googling the Head-fi thread.

The company is still in business at the moment.

The DACs themselves were plagued with problems. I understand some worked, some did not, and because of the issues with the company getting them fixed if they failed could be a challenge.

I understand Amazon bought these from LH Labs several years ago and the price drop must be to move them out. The good news is that if you buy them from Amazon directly you will get them, and that if they fail in the 1st 30 days or so you can get a full refund.

I bought one of the $148 ones on seeing your thread, but given what I know now I cannot really give a thumbs up. A very iffy product, fortunately sourced from a very trusted seller.

lol, why the thumbdown. i'm informing you guys the lowest price ever on these products. probably also the lowest price for 32 bits DAC, too? these are sold by amazon, if they turn out to be crap, just return them.
regardless of your decision to buy, a deal is still a deal, the price drop is real, 60-80% is a lot. i dont understand why thumbdown.

Wish there werent so many reliability complaints. I've only found a couple people who have no issues.

Not gonna lie, I'm blown away with my pulse infinity. I've been listening for the last 6 hours straight. Supposedly it takes at least 200 hours to "break in".
For under 600 it seems like a great deal. Hopefully it holds up!!
