Budget Car Rental $50 off a $250 Base Rate

I got an email from Autoslash with a link to Priceline.com and using the corporate code (BCD) U264500 that I got from Autoslash together with coupon MUEZ022 that takes $50 off $250 base rate (details below -- found on Zalyn.com good for rentals starting before Feb 28, 2018 in US, PR, and Canada) and I got the lowest rate I could find -- even lower than my affiliated discounts or Budget membership. I found the best rate through Priceline as it was discounted further than other sites including Budget.

Rent with Budget and when you spend $250 or more, you can save $50 off base rates. Offer valid September 14, 2017 through February 28, 2018, on all car groups, excluding specialty vehicles, at participating Budget locations in the contiguous U. S. , Canada and Puerto Rico. Rental must begin by February 28, 2018. Dollars off applies to the Base Rate which are the time and mileage charges only, on a minimum base time and mileage spend of $250 or more. This offer is based on the currency of the location of check-out and subject to applicable exchange rates. Not valid on specialty vehicles (group X). All taxes, fees (including but not limited to Air Conditioning Excise Recovery Fee, Concession Recovery Fee, Vehicle License Recovery Fee, Energy Recovery Fee, Tire Management Fee, and Frequent Travel Program Fee) and surcharges (including but not limited to Customer Facility Charge and Environmental Fee Recovery Charge) are extra. Optional products such as LDW and refueling are extra. One coupon per rental. Offer may not be used in conjunction with any other coupon, promotion or offer. Offer not valid on previously completed rentals. Blackout dates may apply; see location for details. An advance reservation is required. Coupon cannot be transferred, sold and we reserve the right to change terms anytime at our sole discretion. Coupon valid at participating Budget locations in the contiguous U. S. , Canada and Puerto Rico. Offer subject to vehicle availability at time of reservation and may not be available on some rates at some times. Dollars off coupons presented/entered during reservation are calculated at time of reservation. Renter must meet Budget age, driver and credit requirements. Minimum age may vary by location. An additional daily surcharge may apply for renters under 25 years old.

If you put $50 off $250 in the title that would be great.

That's funny. We are picking up at MCO and dropping off at RSW.

I did get a better rate with the same codes at Priceline. Is your base rate over $250?

Thanks for the advice. I edited the title and included the $250 Base Rate.

Does anyone know if renting in Denver in February one would get a 4WD/AWD vehicle if I order "Intermediate SUV"? What about "Standard SUV"? What about "Elite Standard SUV"? What about "Jeep Wrangler Hardtop"?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

Also FYI my best price seems to use the BCD X793200 (from "rental car momma") with OP's coupon MUEZ022 and also with prepay discount.

I get this error when I try to use it: The Coupon Number you provided has expired. The expiry date is 2018-02-28

EDIT: I guess it depends on the timeframe for when you reserve it. I reserved it for March 2018.

Currently there is no snow in Denver. I, too am traveling there and renting a car. My current best rate is through Costco travel @ $100 for an economy car from Feb 19-23rd.
