Free shipping or free One Day Shipping for Prime Members. Sold by DBROTH and Fulfilled by Amazon - free one day shipping is YMMV depending on location, not available for all Prime members

Not sure how this compares to the HP Sprocket which is currently on sale at Sam's B&M Stores for the same price. I suppose it's more of a matter of what you'r looking for as the Kodak prints larger photos and seems more for mementos as you don't need to print on that "stick backed paper".

Thought Kodak died when we stopped developing films...

Nice to see a company re-develop/invent their product and stay relevant.

Pretty good price. I wonder how long it takes to print one picture. From the video, I noticed it passes thru 4 times to get all the colors printed out correctly.

My wife just got into scrapbooking and printed a bunch of pictures from walmart. Reviews say this prints at about 50 cents per sheet, so unsure there's much saved here other than a trip to the store.

Ah well, in for one.

Thank you so much for the HP Sprocket comment at Sam's B&M. Was waiting on a deal (which I guess I missed), but thanks to you mentioning it, I just went ahead and bought one.

Happy Holidays!!!

What usually happens is some company buys the name and puts out inferior products based off the original company reputation, Not sure if this applicable here Smilie

If your wife is paying 50c a print for 6x4 then you are getting ripped off. 15c-9c is more like it

Never sw any reason to print like this at home. Way more expensive

FYI ink+paper for these things isn't cheap - about $20 for a 40 pack or $47 for a 120 pack. I just did a bunch of research on the portable 4x6 printers to get one for my girlfriend for Christmas, and decided on the Canon CP1300, which is also a Wi-Fi printer with an integrated LCD screen and costs the same $100 on sale, but ink+paper packs are $29 for 108 count.

I have to say that dye-sublimation prints look closest to traditional "chemical" photographs accross all the printers I saw.

Im interested to learn what makes the Canon one better ? Im trying to figure out which one to buy amidst all these options.

Thanks

This looks like the Sony printer I had/have. It's also a dye-sub, and it does multiple passes because it only does one color at a time.
I am considering getting this because the print cost seems pretty similar to what the Sony was (maybe a little lower, actually) and this can print from mobile devices.

If the quality is anything like the Sony, it's much better than I was ever able to get using my 'Photo' inkjets...

Although, I think print prices can routinely be gotten for cheaper with Walgreens and the like...
